Tendo Akane Cosplay

Hi! I finally was able to cosplay Tendo Akane from Ranma 1/2.

This cosplay is favorite of all because Akane is my favorite character from one of my all-time favorite anime / manga ever.

I remember when I was between 7 and 8 years old I started to watch anime, in those times, I didn't even know it was called that way but I did notice it was different from other cartoon. I enjoyed watching Saint Seiya and Sailor Moon but the one that excited me the most was Ranma 1/2.
I just loved all the crazy characters and how funny they were, it was definitely a remarkable anime in my childhood.

Then, I grew up, I forgot about anime and I got interested in other things but I eventually came back to the amazing world of anime and manga thanks tot he fact that Ranma 1/2 was broadcasted again in my country so I remembered how much I liked so started to investigate more about this art and this is how my addiction started and it has continued until now... it won't stop any time soon XD

Futhermore, in my high school I had to take swimming lessons and I never learned how to. It  was problematic because all my classmates knew how to swim and I was the only one who didn't, thus, my teacher refused to teach me. I tried to learn by myself but I failed so I was very sad... until I watch a episode of Ranma 1/2 about Akane trying how to swim and she failed many times, she felt as sad as I was in that time, but she found her own way to do it. That episode gave the courage to keep trying... I never gave up and nowadays I know how to swim.... well, I'm not a professional but at least I know the basics je je!!

What a long story, eh? Sorry about that! I can't help but writting how important is cosplay for me since it is a way to represent the characters I like the most and have taugh me something.

About my future projects? Well, I have many but unfortunely, I don't have enough health, money and time. Anyways, I will write what I have in mind:

I'm quite excited since my friend Priscilla and Leslie are going to help in order to take the perfect photos with my Beast Cosplay.

At first glance, it seems a simple cosplay but in fact, I spent more than 100 dolars.

Changing my Style

I know I have been lost lately so I'm sorry...

I have great news!! I have got a job so now I can affort all the crazy cosplay projects I have always wanted to do but I couldn't.

About the entry title, well, I want to change a lot my cosplay style and normal oufits too.

About my oufits, I want to have a piercing in my nose and I want my clothes to be more like this:


And about my cosplay style, I'm aware people recgnize for my physical appearance but I want to admire for my art so I will try my best in order to crossplay a character from a manga which is very unknown and lovely.

Me harte de todo!!

Vuelvo al español en esta entrada porque hay cosas que sólo se puden expresar "a lo tico" XDD

Me tomé un gran descanso de todas las redes sociales y fue súper relajante, ahora he vuelto pero ya no le tomo importancia a los acosadores ni malintencionados entonces ahora estoy super relax.

Y si se pregunta, pero ¿Qué es eso de los acosadores? Bueno, resulta que he notado que, aquí en Costa Rica, si un cosplayer no es brocha con las/los "cosplayers de élite", olvídese de ganar y si lo hace, prepárese para ser basureado. Eso fue algo de lo que más me desanimó, detrás de perfiles falsos muchas personas empezaron a ofenderme porque hice un cosplay que una cosplayer ya había hecho, yo empecé a empecé a hacer ese cosplay antes de saber que ella también lo estaba planeando y cuando me di cuenta, ya iba por la mitad del mío y no me iba a hechar atrás, así que pienso que ambas merecemos respeto y que cada quien en su mente decida cual le gustó más pero sin basurear a nadie.

Todavía no estoy segura pero al rato me dan ganas de seguir haciendo cosplay pero solo para photoset porque en el Kurisumasu muchos hombres me demostraron que no son capaces de respetar el arte de una cosplayer y sólo se limitan a decir cosas como "Que perrota más sucia y rica"... ... WTF??? No se imaginan como odio ese tipo de hombres

Mi costurera lleva por la mitad mi cosplay de Beast pero los accesorios extras (como el látigo, lentes de contactos, botas, pantis) no los he conseguido porque he estado muuuuy corta de dinero :( pero espero terminarlo lo antes posible.
Como el cosplay de Beast también es bastante sexy, entonces precisamente por eso mencionaba que tal vez lo use sólo para photoset pero todavía no me decido ya que ir a los eventos también tiene su gracia como: esa sensación de adrelina toda rica cuando me subo a la tarima y los pocos comentarios respetuosos que me dicen (son un 3%) pero aún así me hacen inmesamente feliz.

Hello, everyone!
After a long time without writing in this blog, I come back!!!
Why did that happen?... well, I totally got addicted to Persona 4 and I couldn’t stop playing in all my vacation time.

But I’m sure that you’re wondering something like: Why is this crazy girl writing in English now? Well, well… I’ve decided to write in English because one of my biggest dreams has become true: People around the world are starting to recognize my cosplay projects and that’s amazing!!!! For that reason, as everybody knows, English is an universal language so writing in this language more people are going to know more information about this crazy cosplayer.
It’s kind of embarrassing but I have to confess that my English isn’t perfect, actually, I’m in the learning process and the three words I heard more often are “You are wrong” so if I make any mistake, please let me know.
Obviously, I would like to write this blog using Japanese, but unfortunately I just know a few words, I don’t know how to say a complete and meaningful sentence. But I promise I’ll learn as soon as I can because Japan is the most beautiful country (in my opinion), I just love the gardens, art, history… so having Japanese visitors in my blog (If you don’t believe me, check the application of the flags) is soooooooooooooooo exciting (actually is more than exciting but I just can’t find a word to describe my feelings).

About my otaku-life, I was very worried about that law against anime (I don’t remember the number of the law XD) because anime is amazing, I mean, most of the genders are. I have to accept that some genders like loli-kon, hentai, futanari… are dangerous and they need to be restricted, furthermore, people that enjoy those genders need to be aware that the things they watch in those animes/mangas is just fiction and They mustn’t practice in the real life, I mean, a guy mustn’t violate a little child just because He watch loli-kon a few hours ago.
Last season, nothing really liked me but Starry Sky. I’ve only watched one episode, even though, I just love the romance and the main character (He is so mysterious).
I’m watching some old anime like Ouran Koukou Host Club, durarara, togainu no chi, vampire knight guilty, kaleido star, nodame cantabile and macross frontier… all of them are interesting.
And I’m reading Fairy Tail, Angel Sanctuary, Kyoukai no Rinne, junjou romantica, ayashi no ceres, hoshi wa utau, kuroshitsuji (I love the manga, the anime sucks) and twin spica.

About my cosplayer-life, I planning a Beast (from kuroshitsuji) cosplay. I had trouble with the fabrics but I could find one pretty similar, at the moment, I’m just saving money for the red eyes and boots.
When I started to cosplay I never imagined that my cosplays could get so popular, I’m not lying, I have received so many good comments from costa Rican people and from people around the world and that encourage me a lot, I promise I’m going to spend as much money as it is need in order to show you a good finished work.

Before saying good bye, I have a very important message to all me followers: Sorry for the simple design of this blog!! I know that sucks but I just learning about loop, codes, algorithmic but I haven’t learnt anything about web design…  (Well, I least my header rocks because it is Akira’s)

Las dimensiones de Yumi

Pensé que mi presentación había sido caótica, así que pensé que sería divertido dividir mi personalidad en todas mis dimensiones... aquí va:

Dimensión universitaria



Actualmente estudio informática y creo que fue la mejor disición que he tomado. Solía querer estudiar Psicología pero por dicha no gané el exámen de la UCR porque hubiera un grandísimo error. Ciertamente es divertido analizar el comportamiento humano pero no se compara a aprender todo el grandioso mundo de las computadoras y la programación.
No es por rajar, pero siempre he resaltado por mis buenas notas y la u, no es la excepción. Así que me siento muy orgullosa de mí misma.

Dimensión Otaku



Todos lo sque me conocen saben que adoro el anime, manga y cultura japonesa en general. Mi sueño ir a Japón, conocer a Rumiko Takahashi, ir a un concierto de Gazette, comer sushi, comprarme un kimono, visitar los museos japoneses, ver el monumento de Hijikata Toshizo... en fin, soy una freak de estas cosas y lo tomo muy en serio. No soy como muchos imbésiles que he conocido... cambiando de tema, creo que los anime que me gustan es redundante mencionarlo porque lo hice al inicio
P.D: No tengo interés especial por konata, es solo porque ella es otaku

Dimensión cosplayer



Esto es muy importante para mí porque hacer cosplay es sencillamente increíble!!!! Yo soy tímida, poco espontánea y odio ser el centro de atención pero cuando hago cosplay siento que por primera vez, ser el centro de atención no es tan malo porque me encantan que me tomen fotos. Como dijo una cosplayer costarricense al cual admiro mucho, "haciendo cosplay se puede aprender mucho". Así que aunque no puedo hacer tantos cosplays como yo quisiera, por el momento me conformo con los 2 que he hecho y el que tengo 85% listo
El cosplay es como una adicción pero no creo que sea algo malo porque por mi amor al cosplay he hecho cosas que no sabía que podía llegar a hacer. -Por ejemplo, cuando estaba en el cole y la escuela todos se burlaban de mí porque mis manualidades eran los peores pero aora gracias al cosplay pude hacer una guitarra que me quedó super cool y con mis propias manos, sip, esas manos torpes que yo creía que no podían hacer nada artístico. Y justamente en este momento también estoy creando unas botas para el mismo cosplay.

Dimensión de lectura "no otaku"



Es algo que pocos conocen de mí.
Además de leer manga, también me gusta leer otras cosas como los libros Shakespeare. Mis preferidos son La fierecilla domada, romeo y julieta, hamlet, entre otros.
También me gustan el misterio de Edgar Allan Poe, me parece increíble que pueda imprimirle la misma sensación de misterio con palabras que una peli de terror.
Es rajado!

Que yo me acuerde, estas serían los únicas dimensiones de mi vida :P

¿Quién es Yumi?

Bueno, hola, yo soy Amizaki Yumi!!

Soy freak en lo que respecta a anime, manga y cultura japonesa en general. Mi anime preferido es Inuyasha pero también me gusta Futatsu no Spica, Rurouni Kenshin, Ranma 1/2, Blood plus, Togainu no Chi, Junjou romantica, Fruit Basket, Vampire Knight, kuroshitsuji ... entre muchos otros... mientras tenga un buen desarrollo de personajes, me gusta casi todo.
Por supuesto que desarrollo de personajes no incluye viejas enseñando el trasero como imbésiles... sip, por si no se dieron cuenta odio el ecchi y todos sus subgéneros.

Tampoco es que esté en contra del sexo, de hecho, soy muy abierta en ese sentido y creo que es algo normal es la vida del ser humano... por eso el hentai no me molesta del todo porque aunque yo no haya visto deber algunos que valgan la pena

Como ciertos otakus, prefiero la mayoría de historias del manga como kuroshitsuji que es un amor de manga también leo Akuma no Eros (apenas estoy experimentando estos géneros medio perver je, je) Fruit Basket (la segunda mejor obra de arte después de Inuyasha), Hoshi ga utau, Togainu no Chi, Futatsu no Spica, Junjou Romantica... como se habrán dado cuenta adoro a Rumiko Takahashi y a Natsuki Takaya.

Mis seiyûs preferidos son Satsuki Yukino, Yamaguchi Kappei, Takahiro Sakurai, Romi Paku, Daisuke Ono, Daisuke Namikawa... entre muchos otros, porque rajado que todos son buenos!!

También estoy escribiendo una historia que tal vez la publique en el blog, es de samurais pero es más romántica que de peleas

Y también quería exibir algunos de mis cosplays porque nadie me da pelota pero aún así espero salir adelante :P

Estoy informática y espero aprender mucho sobre estas grandiosas máquinas (las computadoras)

También se me olvidaron los juegos... bueno, no soy muy gamer que digamos pero de vez en cuando disfruto de RPG como Final Fantasy VII (lo adoro) y Persona 4 (que juegazo!) también de peleas como Guilty Gear pero no soy muy buena -_-U también le doy KOF y adoro a Mai Shiranui, en Guilty me gusta usar a I-No y a Baiken, el único hombre que uso es Rock de KOF, ah! también me gusta soul calibur y ahí uso a Seong Mina, yupi! Atelier Iris 3 es bueno pero me esperaba más romance así que lo deje de jugar pero el diseño de personajes era hermoso, así que tal vez lo continue cuando salga de la u este año.

Música? Etto... adoro a Gazette (Ruki es my love) y Girugamesh. Ellos son los principales pero por ahí ando una que otra canción de los Abingdon Boys School, GranRodeo, Anna Tsuchiya, UWERworld...
